Gooey Chocolate Chip Cookies

Hello and assalam alaikum my amazing readers.

Welcome back to my blog. Hope all of you are staying home and safe. Staying indoors sure is a lil difficult specially for the kids. So whats better than a batch of freshly baked yummy chocolate chip cookies 🍪.

The delicious and mouth watering aroma would surely lift up the of not only kids but adults too....

I have tried my fair share of cookie recipes and this is hands down the best recipe ever. This is my go to recipe whenever i have a cookie craving and once u try this out, am 100 and 1 % sure it would be yours too. 😁

INGRIDIENTS


Unsalted butter (melted) - most recipes xall for softened butter, but i feel melted butter helps the cookie in spreading and gives it the perfect texture.

Suger - we'll be using equal amounts of brown and caster suger. I suggest you do not skip the brown suger. It makes the cookies moist and chewier.

Eggs- they are the binding agent to our cookies

Vanilla essence /extract - it enhances the flavor in most baking goods.

Salt

Baking soda - it helps in levening the cookie to make it soft and gooey.

Flour

Chocolate chips - am using Hershey's semisweet chocolate chips, u can use whatever chocolate chip or chunks u like.


Once u get all the ingredients, all you have to do is mix them all up, scoop them out, bake them till lightly golden and tadaa..... U have perfectly moist gooey and yummy chocolate chip cookies every single time.

So what are we waiting for, lets get baking.


GOOEY CHOCOLATE CHIP COOKIES

PREP TIME :10 MINS

BAKE TIME :12 MINS

YIELDS :25-30 COOKIES


INGRIDIENTS :

200gms / 1 cup unsalted butter(melted)

1/2 cup brown suger

1/2 cup caster suger

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tsp baking powder

1/4 tsp salt

2 1/2 cup all purpose flour

2 eggs


Method :


  • In a bowl add in the melted butter, brown and caster suger and mix with an elctric mixer till light and creamy.

  • Add in 2 eggs one at a time mixing in between.

  • Add vanilla extract, salt and baking powder and mix well till everything is fully incorporated.

  • Add in the flour to the mixture and beat till its loosely doughy. The batter should be soft but not too soft to touch


Finally add in the chocolate chip and mix well with a wooden spatula. The dough would appear a lil too soft, but thats ok

  • Refrigerate it for a 20 mins while ur oven is preheating.

  • Scoop out the cookie dough on a baking sheet. In case u are not making the cookies at once refrigerate the dough till u are ready to make the next batch.

  • Bake the cookies for 12 mins or until lightly golden. The cookies will be soft in the center but thats ok they would be fine once out of the oven. Do not overbake the cookies.

  • Let the cookies cool down a bit and serve.


And there you go perfectly gooey and moist chocolate chip cookie recipe.
