Hello beautiful readers, welcome back to my blog.
Since my first blog was all about milky goodness š.... I thought what could be better than a lil salty candilicious recipe for the second one... š

This homemade salted caramel sauce is sooo soo soo very easy to make.... With just a few ingredients and 10 mins of ur precious time... U'll come face to face with this golden goodness.. Yummm...... š
It goes with almost anything be it brownies, apple pie, ice creams, tres leche š... Anything u want.
U'll be loving this jus as much as i do....
INGRIDIENTS FOR SALTED CARAMEL :
This amazing salted caramel sauce needs nothing more than BUTTER, SUGER, HEAVY CREAM AND SALT. Ana viola ur salted caramel is ready to go....

My inspiration for this recipe was Sally's baking addiction, it was the first caramel sauce recipe i tried and i loved it. And then i went on doing a lil variations and come up with one of my own....

HOW TO MAKE SALTED CARAMEL SAUCE :
Add in brown suger / white suger in a saucepan and keep on med heat. Keep stirring so as to avoid burning the suger.
Once the suger caramalizes add in the butter and mix well until fully incorporated.
Slowly add the heavy cream while still stirring, the caramel tends to bubble up and rise so be careful.
Add in the salt and mix well.
Finally add a lil vanilla extract and ur done...
(this step is completely optional, u can skip it and it will still taste amazing).
This caramel sauce is better than any store bought one and i can guarantee you that.
It can be stored in an air tight container or jar. U can also refrigerate it. Caramel hardens when refrigerate so warm it up till it reaches ur desired consistency.
SALTED CARAMEL SAUCE
PREP TIME :10 MINS
COOK TIME :10 MINS
YIELDS : 1 JAR
INGRIDIENTS :
11/2 CUP brown /granulated suger
100gms unsalted butter (cut in cubes)
1/2 cup heavy cream
11/4 tsp salt
1/2tsp vanilla extract (optional)
METHOD :
Take a saucepan, add in the suger and keep on med high heat. Stir till the suger caramalizes.
Once the suger caramalizes completely add in the butter cubes and stir till the butter and suger are fully incorporated.
While still stirring add in the heavy cream and mix well. Be careful since the caramel tends to bubble up and rise as the heavy cream is cold.
Finally add in the salt, mix well and keep aside to let it cool down a bit. Caramel thickens as it cools.
And there u have it.... Amazing salted caramel sauce is ready to be devoured.
Ps. If using salted butter cut short the amount of salt
